A-10, r. 1 - Regulation respecting travel agents
Section 4.1
Disposition versions
4.1. On 1 July 2019 and on 1 July of each subsequent year, the duties in force at that time for the licences referred to in subparagraph a, b or d of the first paragraph of section 4, section 11.5 and section 31.9 and the indemnity relating to living and accommodation expenses referred to in paragraphs b of section 43.8 and paragraph c of section 43.10 are indexed on the basis of the rate of variation in the general average Consumer Price Index for Canada as determined by Statistics Canada for the preceding calendar year in relation to that for the previous year. The new duties and indemnity shall have effect from the date of indexing.
The duties and indemnity thus indexed shall be reduced to the nearest dollar where they contain a fraction of a dollar less than $0.50; they shall be increased to the nearest dollar where they contain a fraction of a dollar equal to or greater than $0.50.
The Office de la protection du consommateur shall publish in the Gazette officielle du Québec each year a notice indicating the new duties and indemnity as soon as they are determined.
4.1.
